Racing Mentality

Membership Commitment

In pursuance of the team goals, it is important to have a close group of driven individuals with comparable ability--sizable enough to provide ample racing opportunities for each member; tight-knit to ensure role congruency and shared race experience among its members.

As a member of team 4LPH4 1337, one is committed to the following:

  • When considering competing in an adventure race, other members of 4LPH4 1337 must be considered as racing partners first and foremost over non-members. Practically, this means extending an invitation to the team to see if other members are interested in participating. Note: Exceptions may occur when there are specific/personal desires to race with non-member partners. Examples include racing with a sibling or an old high school friend as a bonding experience.
  • When racing with non-4LPH4 1337 team members, the team name 4LPH4 1337 must not be used. The exception to this commitment is during recruitment, when 4LPH4 1337 members are racing with a single recruit.
