Welcome to Team ROC Gear/4LPH4 1337's website. Team ROC Gear/4LPH4 1337 is an Adventure Racing team located in the Atlanta area. We've dubbed ourselves the most technologically advanced team out there. We have been competing for two years, during which time we've fielded 21 teams at races from Florida to Virginia. The team's 8 members have backgrounds in competitive distance running, mountain biking, rowing, and triathlon.

Announcements

• 11/19/2008: 4LPH4 1337 received our final points for the USARA ranking system. We accrued 164 points and ranked 14th out of 381 ranked teams.
• 11/18/2008: Due to work/family commitments, Phillip has decided to drop from the racing lineup.
• 11/12/2008: Team ROC Gear/4LPH4 1337 places 29th in elite category, 35th overall at the USARA National Championships. Reviews here.
• 11/03/2008: With the last weekend of training complete, Josh, Joanna, and Jordan of Team ROC Gear/4LPH4 1337 are preparing for the USARA National Championship race on Nov. 7th-8th.
• 11/03/2008: Team ROC Gear/4LPH4 1337 showed off their wheels at Callaway Gardens Twilight 10K. Jordan and Michael swept the 25-29 category, Jordan breaking 40 and placing 2nd overall. Joanna and Laura placed 3rd and 2nd in their respective categories, everybody in the top 50, with 386 in the race.
• 11/02/2008: 4LPH4 1337 is pleased to announce ROC Gear as the team's title sponsor. We will be proudly racing as Team ROC Gear/4LPH4 1337 at future races.

• 10/18/2008: 4LPH4 1337 Panama City Beach training week underway!!! 8 hour ocean paddle, beach run schedule tomorrow, beach trek the day after.

• 10/01/2008: Joanna places 3rd/23 in her age group, 92nd/491 at the Tri2 Remember Triathlon. Congratulations! Results.
• 09/21/2008: Josh places 1st/45 in the Yellow Course, 2nd/11 (by 3 seconds!) on the Green Course at the Red Top Mountain Orienteering Meet. Jack and Jordan had a fun time. Jack so much that he came back the next day placing 10th/21 on the competitive Red Course.
