Remember that we're voting on the concept, not the implementation. Whichever we choose, it will have to be reworked a few times to get a final product that can meet the printing and digital publication needs, and thus will look a lot better than the rough drafts below. The colorized versions can be adapted to use whatever colors we wish. As such,

Here's how the voting will go down. We'll each vote on first, second, and third. The one with the mosts 1sts will win (regardless of count of 2nds/3rds), if a tie, the most 2nds (regardless of 3rds), if a tie, the most 3rds. If still a tie, we'll have a bake-off vote where everyone is given only one vote for those submissions up for the tie-breaker.
