Timeline

• 12 years of competitive swimming, went to state every year in High school 2nd at state in two events senior year, swam for Hillsdale College, went undefeated in the 100 butterfly and first at division championships.
• started road biking after college to get into Tri's, only did not sprint but fell in love with the road bike.
• bought a single speed and started mt.biking
• had heard about AR but didn't know anyone who did it until doing first few AR's with some guys from work and was hooked
• moved up to do a few 12-15 hr races and two 24hr races in 2009

• Average workout time: 8-12hrs a week, mix of biking, gym workouts, swimming and trail running
